Munch Crunch provides a farm-fresh fruit and veg home delivery service with a twist. In an effort to fix a broken fresh food ecosystem, this new service aims to connect households directly with farmers to buy a share in an upcoming harvest.
The old website was failing to project the unique messaging and was struggling to both attract and keep customers, it was hard to update for the Munch Crunch team and importantly, after expanding into new product ranges, it had become difficult for customers to use. Nextwave was brought in to fix these problems and put the business on the right foundation for future growth.

Nextwave delivered a highly customized, new online home for this unique service
Using beautiful custom design, the adaptable WordPress platform, a mix of 3rd party plugins and some smart custom coding, Nextwave was able to deliver a stunning new web solution for Munch Crunch. A solution that addresses real business needs, both forward facing for the customer, as well as streamlining back of house operations for this growing service.
The new site uses vibrant imagery, clever copy and a captivating brand story to get its message across. The customised and vastly improved checkout flow leads customers through a selection of steps, including types of boxes, delivery frequency, add-ons and more. All handled via a unique ‘Farmgate’ where their ‘conscious customers’ can look after all aspects of their subscription and stay up to date with the farmers growing their fruit and veg.
The service targets a growing segment of ‘conscious consumers’ who want to know where their food is coming from, and are happy to pay a premium for certified organic produce. The new service is poised to make an impact in what is currently a broken fresh food ecosystem where the farmers have little control and big business is putting profits before the health of its customers.
Together with Nextwave, Munch Crunch is aiming to give some of that control back to the farmer by matching them up with households prior to planting their harvest. A novel service indeed and a big win for all involved if it continues to grow at current rates.
